A debut goal by Rade Prica helped Sunderland jump out of the Premier League's bottom three.

The £2m Swedish striker, signed from Aalborg last week, steered a shot over Maik Taylor in the second half to give the Black Cats some breathing space.

Prica was only on because Dwight Yorke had picked up a calf injury in the first half - and it was a debut to remember for the Swedish international.
